Five ways to test your knowledge
YAWL is not a plain text quiz. Cards use different formats depending on what the subject demands.
Pick the correct answer
Classic four-option cards. Equations, definitions, statements — choose the one that's right. Rendered with LaTeX so formulas look as they should.
Type a number
Enter the exact numerical result. Tolerances are configurable per card, so "9.81" and "9.8" can both be accepted for gravitational acceleration.
Write a formula
Type a LaTeX expression as the answer. Ideal for deriving formulas or completing equations step-by-step.
Complete the equation
Part of the equation is hidden. Fill in the missing term — great for learning the structure of fundamental laws and identities.
Pick from diagrams
Choose the correct graph, vector diagram, or figure from four options. Perfect for topics where visual understanding matters.
Practice sessions, not endless scrolling
Logged-in users get a focused session of up to 10 randomly selected cards per lesson — short enough to finish in one sitting, varied enough to build real recall. You work through them one by one and see your score at the end.
10 Cards per Session
Each session picks up to 10 cards at random from the lesson. Even a subtopic with 50 cards stays approachable — and every retry shows a fresh selection.
Non-Blocking
Wrong answer? The session continues. YAWL records your result but never blocks progress. Learn from mistakes without frustration.
Session Score
At the end you see how many cards you got right. Retry immediately if you want to improve — a new session means a new random draw.
Progress History
All sessions are saved to your account. Watch your accuracy improve across retries and topics over time.
